With all the rumours flying around about BCE being courted by different groups from all over the place, one of the scenario’s proposed, would have Bell merging with TELUS… Now if Telus could afford to by Bell Canada, now maybe this would be a good move, but its the other way around so all that would happen is that a great white elephant would ony get bigger and not really get better. So apart from having fun thinking of the new name, there isn’t much hope in any kind of alliance between the two.
